Thursday’s Vichy featured Prix des Ventes du Marault (purse 60,000 euro, 3535 meters, seven starters) saw 6.1/1 Balbir (7g Ganymede-Manzir) score in 1.17.9kr for trainer/driver Mickael Cormy and owner Ecurie du Vieux Chene. 16/1 Ange du Lune (8g Laetenter Diem) was second for owner/trainer/driver Matthieu Abrivard. 34/1 Auricide Guez (8g Joker de Rozoy).

Action at Enghien included the Q+ Prix de la Haute-Saone (purse 44,000 euro, 2875 meters, 15 starters) with 6.5/1 Eire d’Helios (4f Ni Ho Ped d’Ombree-Pomme du Lys) the winner in 1.17.1kr for Francois Lagadeuc.

Ecurie d’Helios is breeder/owner of the winner. 8.5/1 Egerie du Vivier (4f Repeat Love) was next for Sebastian Ernault and breeder/owner/trainer Jean Yves Lucuyer.

The 18/1 Emilia Ceijy (4f Un Mec d’Heripre) took third for breeder/owner/trainer Arnaud Desmottes. Note the sire of the fourth and fifth horses, 12/1 Etoile des Yedrag (4f Un Mec d’Heripre) and 8/1 Elite du Lys (4f Un Mec d’Heripre), these reined by Franck Nivard and Franck Ouvrie. The Q+ exact order payoff was 10,674 euro with no jackpot winning ticket.

The Prix de la Concorde (purse 70,000, 2875 meters, 11 starters) saw 12/1 Blues des Landiers (g Phlegyas-Mega des Landiers) win in 1.15.5kr for breeder/owner/trainer/driver Dominique Cheradame. 5/10 favorite Balardo (7m Nijinski Blue) held second with Eric Raffin up for breeder/owner/trainer M. Alphonse Vanberghen. 5.4/1 Archibald (8g Meaulnes du Corta) rallied for third with breeder/owner/trainer/driver Pierre Levesque at the lines.

On the card the Prix de la Porte d’Italia (purse 70,000, 2875 meters, 13 starters) was won by 1.13.7kr timed and 4.1/1 odds Ceylan Dairpet (6f Ouragon de Celland-Rosy MP). Yoann Lebourgeois teamed the Tony LeBeller trainee for Ecurie Daidou. 3/2 Devinmont (5g Kaiser Soze) and 20/1 Crepe de Satin (6f Le Retour) was third.

Saturday at Enghien will be the Prix de Londres (Gr. II International Monte, 2875 meters, 120,000 euro purse). Veteran monte super horse Arlington Dream will be at the start for Yoann Lebourgeois.

On Tuesday at Enghien is the Prix de Londres (Gr. II European, 2875 meters autostart, 150,000 euro purse, 12 starters) with a top flight lineup led by Aubrion du Gers (J-M Bazire) and chief rivals Bird Parker and Un Mec d’Heripre. This promises to be an exceptional event at the summer trots at Enghien.
