June 17, 2017 - Johan Untersteiner and 13/1 Carabinieri (6m Wellino Boko-Dew Princess-JR Broline) stalked embattled pacesetter Timoko (10m Imoko-Kiss Me Coulonces-And Arifant) with Bjorn Goop up, and surged past with little yardage remaining to post a length victory timed in 1.11kr.

Carabinieri is trained by Peter Untersteiner and scored his fifth 2017 win in eight starts. The winning share of the €165,000 purse was €100,000.
