Cash Pride just gets up on the turf to win the Grand Prix d’Agglomerations du Villeneuvois at Villeneuve Sur Lot

Sunday’s Trophee Vert was the Grand Prix d’Agglomerations du Villeneuvois at Villeneuve Sur Lot (purse €45,000, 2600 meters on the turf, 16 starters, distance handicapped).

The 9/1 Cash Pride (6g Coktail Jet-Elitloppa) scored in a blanket finish timed in 1.15.7kr and driven by Manuel Criado.

Mme. Maryse Criado owns this performer that bested 5.7/1 Utile Lebel (10g Biesolo) that traveled an additional 25 meters with Christophe Feyte the trainer/driver.

The 41/1 Akido (8g Love You-Isba) rallied furiously from a 50 meters handicap to be third for Charles Bouvier. Benjamin Goetz trains this one for legendary Ecurie Comte P de Montesson.

The 2.4/1 favorite Chic Carisole was a miscue dq and 7.5/1 Bebert Express finished ninth while 3.3/1 Authorized was home sixth.

At Reims this day was the Grand Prix de Reims (purse €21,000, 2550 meters, 16 starters) with the 1.13.9kr timed victory earned by 5/2 Cartel (6g Prodigious-Sonate d’Aunou).

Romain Derieux was the driver/trainer of the winner for Mme. Mauricette De Sousa. The 4.6/1 Cherie Quick (6f Prodigious) was second for driver Franck Ouvrie, trainer Patrick Chevrier and Ecurie Quick Star, the breeder/owner. 10/1 Charline de Victhi (6f Kepler) held third for David Armellini, driving for trainer Gregory Houel and owner Philippe Raymond Collet.
