Tonight’s Paris-Vincennes featured Prix Freis (75,000€ purse, 2850 meters, 11 starters) went to 9/1 Eclat de Gloire (4g Tiego d’Etang-Vive Fee) with trainer Loris Garcia aboard. Ecurie du Vieux Chene owns the winner that bested 9/1 Ethien du Vivier (4m Sancho Turgot-Numiva du Vivier), driver David Thomain, trainer Tomas Malmqvist and owner Stall Fanjar HB.

The 5.7/1 odds Erode Ludois (4m Rodrigo Jet-Oscaviva Bog) took third for Matthieu Abrivard. Race time was 1.13.8kr.

Of interest was also the Prix Phaedra (purse 46,000€, 2200 meters, seven two year old starters) that saw 1.9/1 second choice Gotland (2m Ready Cash-Sanawa) prevail timed in 1.15.7kr.

Eric Raffin teamed the Philippe Allaire owned and trained colt that J-P Guay bred. This one is now two for two in his early career. 1.1/1 favorite General du Parc (2m Lejacque d’Houlbec-Amazone du Parc) took second for Alexandre Abrivard and trainer Frederic Prat.

Third was the 43/1 outsider General Bravo (2m Nahar de Beval-Adelina) handled by his trainer Franck Anne for Ecurie des Charmes.

Yonkers International post positions were drawn today and are shown below. The North American entries are formidable against a rather subdued European lineup. The Jerry Riordan trained Ringostarr Treb, the 2018 Elitloppet winner, is a top performer when in peak form.
