Meslay du Maine hosted the 9th leg of the Gr. III Grand National du Trot Paris-Turf (purse 85,000€, 2850 meters distance handicap, 16 starters, also a Q+ race of the day).

The 1.1/1 favorite Elvis Madrik (5g Overtrick-Tequila Dara) scored for pilot Franck Nivard and trainer/owner Jean Michel Baudouin, his eighth career win in 28 outings, now for 336,920€ earned.

The 4.2/1 Calou Renardiere (7g Lets Go Along) was second for Eric Raffin and owner/trainer Baudouin. The 55/1 Cedere de l’Airou (7f Chef du Chatelet) took third for Paul Philippe Ploquin, ahead of 19/1 Brelan du Vivier and 21/1 Bachar.

The exact order Q+ payoff was 5,415.60€ to 173 winning ticketholders. The Q+ pool was 3,415,894€ and over 7,2800,000€ was wagered on this race.

On Saturday at Paris-Vincennes there is a fine card that includes four groupe level races. The highlight is the Gr. II Prix d’Ete that is the UET Masters Series Finale (purse 380,000€, 2700 meters, 12 starters).

Bold Eagle meets Propulsion in this one that also includes the Jean Michel Bazire stable gelded trotteurs Cleangame and Bel Avis. The lineup is shown in the photo section.
