Hunter Valley (4f Charly du Noyer-Reethi Rah Jet) rallied for a 1.13.4kr timed victory in the Gr. III Prix d’Orthez (purse 80,000€, 2850 meters, European four year olds) at Vincennes.

Harness racing driver Adrien Lamy teamed the Tomas Malmqvist trainee for Ecurie Hunter Valley. Jean Etienne Dubois bred the winner that is a half-sister to Bold Eagle. Hunter Valley, off at 3.3/1 odds, won for the fourth time for 113,500€ in career earnings. The winning sire is a son of Ready Cash-Ornella Jet) that was a 12 time winner of 839,790€.

15/1 odds Bolero Gar (4m Varenne-Nike Gar) was a dead-heat second for pilot Alexandre Abrivard. 1.9/1 Hatchet Man (4m Goetmals Wood-Suricate) was dead-heat second too with David Thomain up for trainer Philippe Allaire and owner Kevin Tebirent. 8/41 Beautiful Colibri (4f Ready Cash-Gilly LB) was fourth for Francois Lagadeuc and owner/trainer Allaire.

On the card was the Gr. III Prix du Pontevice de Heessey (monte Gr. III, European, 2175 meters) and 5.3/1 odds Carly (9g Rolling d’Heripre-Thea de Jelma) scored in a quick 1.10.2kr with Mathieu Mottier in the irons.
