Friday’s Prix Burgunda (purse €42,000, 2850 meters, eight starters) went to 1.15kr timed and 2,8/1 Free Man (3m Ready Cash-Olly Star). Mathieu Mottier teamed the Dominique Mottier trained colt that Jean Pierre Barjon owns. 4.4/1 Faithful (3m Village Mystic-Horsaca) was half-length beaten second with Alexandre Abrivard up for breeder/owner/trainer Louis Baudron. 2.1/1 favorite Falcao de Laurma (3m Uniclove-Rangoon) was third for the driver/trainer  team of Clement and Thierry Duvaldestin.
