Ulena Car romps in the Championship de la Ville de Baden in Austria

Sunday’s trotting action at Baden (Austria) featured the 3rd Championship de la Ville de Baden (purse 20,000 euro, 2100 meters autostart, 13 starters) and 16/1 Ulena Car (5f Garden Spot-Ghinea Car) led most of the way for a convincing victory timed in 1.14.7kr.

Giampaolo Minnucci drove the winner for trainer Lorenzo Baldi and owner Stefano Ricci. 9/10 favorite Super Fez (7m Love You-Lucia FI) was second with Gabriele Gelormini up for trainer Gennaro Casillo and Cumana Group SRL.

The 6.8/1 Stark Bi (7m Toss Out-No Reason Bi) was third for Rudolf Haller and 25/1 Electric Light (5m Going Kronos-USA Hornline) took fourth with Joseph Verbeeck the pilot.

The Baden card included four PMU simulcast races and the FEGAT Ladies event that was won by Xena Venus with Nadja Reisenbauer aboard. In addition to the Baden Championship the other three PMU events were won by Lady Muscles (5f Muscle Hill-Chieftess) for Gerhard Mayr, Ritchirich Diamant (6m Conway Hall-Irinass) for Gerhard Biendl and Stravinskij Bigi (7h Self Possessed-Foscherara ATC) with Thomas Royer at the lines.
