Some of this years highlights include a chance for someone on course to become a honouree “part owner” for the day of the racehorse Airpark Flyer ,who will compete in the 2019 Rangiora Equine Services “Amberley Cup”,thanks to the generosity of owner, Graeme Harris and trainer, Trent Yesburg .

To be in with a chance to win this wonderful prize ,all you have to do is, place any bet on course to the value of $10 or more, if you win fantastic ,cash it in ,if you don’t ,write your name and phone number on the back of your losing ticket, place it in the specially marked barrel in the birdcage before Race 6 and straight after Race 6 the winner will be drawn. Once again this year we will be supporting the Womens Cancer Foundation. HRNZ staff will also be selling merchandise on the day with all proceeds going to the foundation.

The Amberley club have always embraced the ‘FAMILY ATMOSPHERE” on our racedays and once again there will be plenty of activities to keep the children entertained all day long , with giveaways, pony rides ,bouncy castle, childrens entertainer, lolly scramble and “Kids Go Racing “packs.

Amberley Trotting Clubs objective is to run a raceday which gives back to the Owners ,Trainers and Breeders which is why we strive to keep the stake levels up for the owners, the $500 Breeders Bonus and for the trainers, International Animal Health Products & Garrads Horse & Hound will donate a prize pack for a randomly selected trainer in each race and all trainers will go into the draw for a Major Prize Pack drawn after Race 7.
