"Commissioner Idelkope's familiarity with legislative process will be helpful to the Racing Commission," said Executive Director Tom DiPasquale.

Commissioner Jerry Bell will be retiring at the end of this year and will conclude his work with the Racing Commission at the next Full Commission meeting on December 19, 2019.

Commission Chairman Jim Lane said, "The commission has benefited from Jerry Bell's wisdom, community stature, and business experience on a wide range of policy and regulatory matters since 2015. We will miss his wise counsel and friendship."
