Readly Express and In Vain Sund took Grand Prix de l’UET elims this evening at Solvalla to round out the field for the October 14 harness racing Gr. I €400,000 European Derby at Paris-Vincennes (below)

The Solvalla elims, each raced over 2140 meters for a purse of 301,500SEK, went first to Readly Express (4m Ready Cash-Caddie Dream) timed in 1.12.5kr for driver Jorma Kontio and trainer Timo Nurmos. Tobin Kronos (4m Muscle Hill-Zamia FC) was second a length back for Bjorn Goop and trainer Daniel Reden with third to Copimade (4m Ganymede-Copigirl) driven by Erik Adielsson for trainer Jorgen Westholm.

The second elim produced victory for In Vain Sund (4m Revenue-Staro Yasmine) with Kenneth Haugstad up for trainer Reden clocked in 1.12.2kr in the length score. Nappa Scar (4m Scarlet Knight-Butterfly Player) took second for trainer/driver Per Lennartsson ahead of Bryssel (4m Ready Cash-Spacelane) with trainer/driver Bjorn Goop teaming.
