WASHINGTON, PA, Oct. 9, 2019 -- Converted claimer Sweet Anna Banana reached the front with a quarter-pole move, then made a shambles of the race late as she captured Wednesday's harness racing co-feature at The Meadows, an $11,800 Filly & Mare Conditioned Pace.

Trainer Brandon Presto grabbed Sweet Anna Banana after her last race -- also a victory -- for owners Spring Valley Ranch and Michelle Linnert for a $10,000 base claiming price. The 3-year-old daughter of Sweet Lou Ciela Hanover returned immediate dividends, as she drew away late from JK Kissntell to down her by 4-3/4 lengths in 1:53.2 for Brian Zendt, matching her career fastest. The first-over Dark Rhapsody finished third.

In Wednesday's companion feature, an $11,800 Conditioned Trot, Letsgoforitall moved first over and pulled off the 8-1 upset for Mike Wilder and trainer John Zawistowski, who owns with George Bonomo and Rose Bonomo. The 3-year-old Swan For All-Missy's Angel gelding scored in 1:57.1, 1/2 length better than Kidswillbefeisty, with Slated To Win third.

Wilder collected four wins on the 13-race card while Tony Hall enjoyed a triple. Hall's haul gave him seven wins over the last two programs.

Live racing at The Meadows resumes Saturday, when the card features a $578.04 carryover in the final-race Super Hi-5. First post is 1:05 PM.
