June 19, 2020 - Feeling Cash (5m Ready Cash-Royale Star) survived a vicious harness racing duel with Fleche Bourbon and scored in today’s Prix Xavier de Saint Palais (Gr. II monte, purse 85,000€, 2225 meters, five year olds) at Mauquenchy (transferred card from Vincennes) clocked in 1.12.3kr. Eric Raffin, the masked man, was the winning jockey for trainer Philippe Allaire and owner Carlos Lerner. Feeling Cash, who drifted right in the lane, was off at 4.9/1 odds and won for the eighth time in his career, now for 897,100€ earned. 36/1 Flore de Janeiro (5f Vanishing Point-Ozie de Janeiro) was second with Anthony Barrier in the irons for trainer/owner Franck Blandin. Third home was 38/1 Fiona Gendreenne (5f Akim du Cap Vert-Pekinois) with Mathieu Mottier up for owner/trainer Dominique Lemetayer. 14th June - Veteran Blues des Landiers (9g Phlegyas-Mega des Landiers) rallied from his 50 meter handicap to win today’s Grand Prix Groiup Bouttemy (purse 40,000€, 2875 meters voltstart distance handicap, 18 starters), the seventh leg of the harness racing Trophee Vert Series, held at Arras. The winner was handled by breeder/owner/trainer Dominique Cheradame to his 22nd career victory now for 599,570€ earned. He was off at 11/1 odds. Second was 13/1 odds and 25 meter handicapped Astor de Rozoy (10m Ready Cash-Natacha de Rozoy) for pilot L.J. Legros. II Prix Chambon P (purse 85,000€, 2875 meters voltstart, International five year olds and up) produced a 1.12.4kr victory for 5.1/1 Enino du Pommereux (6m Coktail Jet - Noune du Pommereux) with Matthieu Abrivard up. Sylvain Roger trains this Noel Lolic campaigner. This was his 10th career score now for 821,030€ earned. Heavily favored 4/10 odds Cleangame (8g Ouragon de Celland-Red Bell) was second for trainer/driver Jean Michel Bazire and owner J.M. At Argentan the Prix des Glaievls (purse 18,000€, 2150 meters autostart, 12 starters) went to 1.3/1 Hede Darling (3m Password-Queen Darling) timed in 1.14.7kr for owner/driver Jean Pierre Dubois. Joelle Laroche bred this Kevin Vanderschelden trainee. The Prix Ibiscus (purse 18,000€, 2800 meters autostart, 12 starters) at the same venue saw 5/10 favorite Follow Dream (5m Royal Dream-Vita Dream) score in 1.17.5kr for his seventh victory in 14 career starts. May 26, 2020 - Fleche Bourbon (5f Saxo de Vandel-Uzara Josselyn) won today’s Prix Victor Cavey (Gr. II harness racing monte, purse 85,000€, 2950 meters, five-year olds) held at La Mans in France.  Race time was 1.13.8kr and Alexandre Abrivard was the jockey for trainer Sebastien Guarato and owner Ecurie du Haras des Saint Martin.  The winner, off as the 6/10 odds favorite and racing barefoot, recorded her 14th career victory now for 587,300€ earned and this was her second straight monte victory.  25/1 Fille Vauloger (5g Vaillant Cash-Onda Vauloger) was a fast closing second for Adrien Lamy, ahead of third finishing 59/1 Fable du Plessis (5f Neutron du Cebe) with P.Ph.  Ploquin in the irons. Here, the Quinte+ Prix de l’Obelisque (purse 56,000€, 2050 meters, 16 starters) went to 6.9/1 Dostoievski (7g Ganymede) clocked in 1.11.6kr. Eric Raffin drove this Jean Michel Bazire trainee for Ecurie des Charmes. May 14, 2020 - Era de Lavadour (6f Flash de Cosse-Melba du Chatelet) took the Thursday GP Dynavena Maisagri (purse 30,000€, 2550 meters distance handicap, 18 starters) at Beaumont de Lomagne in this harness racing reopening week in France. The 3.3/1 odds winner was timed in 1.15.2kr as she won for the sixth time in 53 career starts for 183,770€. Mathieu Auvray owns, trains and drove Era de Lavadour. The 25-meter handicapped and 1.6/1 favorite Cap de Narmont (8m Islero de Bellouet) was second for Denis Brossard individually timed in 1.14.7kr. 16/1 Camiros du Goutier (8g Quido du Goutier) was third for Jerome Chavette. 26/1 Christmas du Cebe and 9/1 Boxing Day completed the top five with Boxing Day racing well timed in 1.14.8kr with his 25-meter handicap. The 1.13.0kr timed winner of the monte kickoff was 6.9/1 Diamant de Treabat (7g Kuadro Wild-Sud Africa) handled by Clement Frecelle. The 1.9/1 favorite Emir de Rebomard (6g Kepler-Ufania de Guez), with Julien Raffestin up took second, and 9/1 odds Chalimar de Guez (8g Nahar de Beval-Phoebe de Guez) was third with J-Y Ricard aboard for trainer J.M. Bazire. Diamant de Treabat The Gr. I Prix Saint-Leger des Trotteurs (monte, purse 100,000€, 2450 meters voltstart, 14 starters) was quite a contest with the top three at the finish together, all clocked in 1.15.6kr. The winner was 37/1 Hopla des Louanges (3f Gazouillis-Jolie Lily) with Adrien Lamy in the irons for trainer Franck Leblanc. May 13. 2020 - Earl Simon (6m Prodigious-Tindrana), with Franck Ouvrie up, powered away from his rivals to win today’s harness racing Prix des Ducs de Normandie (purse 110,000€, 2450 meters voltstart, 16 starters) at Caen in a quick 1.11.0kr. Off at 10/1 Earl Simon was away to the lead that he wrested from first leading Bold Eagle and then yielded to Bugsy Malone. Ouvrie then moved the winner to the front in early stretch and they jetted away to an easy victory. Jorma Niskanen trains Earl Simon for Ecurie Skytten and he now shows a 2-2-2 slate in six 2020 starts. He is 15 for 33 in the career. Enino du Pommereux (6m Coktail Jet-Noune du Pommereux) was second for pilot Mathieu Abrivard and trainer Sylvain Roger at 26/1. Stablemate Delia du Pommereux was third but disqualified for interference in mid stretch. That placed Bold Eagle (9m Ready Cash-Reethi Rah Jet) third at 12/1 with Eric Raffin up for trainer Sebastien Guarato.
